1st Logo (December 14, 2007-July 2, 2008)

Logo: We see a painted picture of the road, surrounded by autumn trees. It starts zooming into a box, and we see a fence with a chain blocking the way with the banner attached to the chain. The leaves fall from the trees as it stops zooming back. The white words "Weed Road Pictures" fades in underneath.

  • On Hancock, it cuts from the preceeding Overbrook Entertainment logo to the version that begins with a zoom out. After a few seconds when the text fades in, it cuts to the Blue Light logo.
  • There is a version where the animation is the same but without the leaves falling and the chain is nowhere to be seen.

Technique: Leaves falling and banner floating using Flash animation.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • The normal version as seen on I Am Legend has the opening interview that plays over the precceding Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures logos and the following OE logo can be heard throughout.
  • On the movie Hancock this variation has the harmonica of the opening song that preceeding the same logo and following the Blue Light logo playing through over it
  • The version without the falling leaves uses a nice, calm guitar theme.

Availability: It only appeared on I Am Legend and Hancock.

2nd Logo (April 23, 2010-)

Logo: We start looking at the ground then some grass show up and more of them are coming when the camera moves forward upon the weeded road and then we bump into the wooden gate blocking the road, with an old yellow banner reading "WEED ROAD". Then the lower section flips on, reading "PICTURES". There are flowers around the gate when the background becomes black.

Technique: Great CGI animation.

  • On the trailer for Losers, the logo is made from pink paint. The film itself used the cartoon strip sequence of logos with Weed Road among them.
  • On the trailer for Jonah Hex, the logo also used several custom designs.
  • On Winter's Tale, the logo gets tinted in sepia.
  • On King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, the logo is on a sparkly background with the logo zooming in a few seconds later.

  • On the TV adaptation of Titans the logo is shortened.
  • The television series Star Trek: Picard and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds uses a very short version of this logo.
  • The movie Without Remorse uses a version where it bumps into the gate.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • On the TV series Titans only the flipping sound is heard.
