WOUB-TV is the PBS member television station located in Athens, Ohio. The company was founded in January 7, 1963, and has a secondary channel called WOUC-TV founded in July 26, 1973.

Music/Sounds: A 1960s fanfare, as well as an announcer.
Availability: Ultra Rare. This was seen on Merlin the Magician.
WOUB-TV
(1970s-1980?)
Logo: On a black background, we see the white text "woub-tv" in the center of the screen. Then multiple blue trails of the text appears at the left side of the screen and then moves to the right side. Once the trail moves to the right, the text fades.
Variant: An alternate variant exists where the logo says "WOUB-TV20" instead of "woub-tv".
Technique: Simple 2D Animation.
Music/Sounds: A synth instrumental theme (actually the opening of Baroque Hoedown by Jean-Jacques Perrey and Gershon Kingsley, best known in the US as the main theme from Disney's Main Street Electrical Parade), as well as an announcer saying "Produced in Athens at the Ohio University Telecommunications Center".
Availability: Very rare. It was discovered on the one-off program Appalachian Green Parks Project. The alternate variant was spotted on Hocking Valley Bluegrass.
