Trans 7 is the sister channel of Trans TV, and by far the most watched one out of the both. It started out in 2001 with 88% of it's share owned by Kompas Gramedia. On 2006, CT Corp (Trans Corp) decided to buy a 49% stake of the channel, rebranding it to Trans 7 in December 15, 2006. Since the purchase, TV7(now Trans 7) now shares an office with Trans TV.

1st Logo (2001-2002)

2nd Logo (2002-2006?)

Logo: We see a closeup of the top of the Indonesian flag. A ballpoint pen is also seen, and it starts to write the word "Indonesia" as the camera moves back so we can see the entire word. A burst of light appears at the center of the word, and the camera quickly zooms to it. We now see two hands holding a plant with dirt on a jungle, in which the plant grows. Then we fade into two people in the jungle watching a tree grow. We now see the tree growing in another angle. We zoom away from the tree, and fade into a rural mountain area with a green TV7 logo seen on it. Two Indonesian kids then appear and look at the camera. We then fade into another rural area, as a light by the sun appears in an area, and we fade into wheat, and then back to the rural area again, as we see another TV7 logo. Two more Indonesian people fade in and also look at the camera. We then fade into an underwater zone, various fishes, a dolphin, and a stingray are seen. We then go out of the water, and also see a boat. The fishes appear jumping outside of the water, and then into a close-up of the boat, as we see a couple dressed in blue. The camera moves away from that boat. Then a tropical zone at sunset zooms out. Two lights appear and form an oval. A red 7 zooms out, a "TV" fades in at the left of the 7. The whole 7 logo goes red, the text turns orange, and the background changes into a close-up of the Indonesian flag.

Variants: Sometimes, the logo would only play 1/2 or 1/4 of the full logo, in order to adjust to the TV programming.

  • 30 Second Variant: The logo goes from the pen scene to the underwater scene.
  • 15 Second Variant: The logo skips the montage entirely, fading from the pen scene to the final scene with the TV7 logo.
  • 10 Second Variant: The logo begins at the final scene with the TV7 logo.

Technique: Good animation, but today the animation feels quite dated and shows its age.

Music/Sounds: A long orchestral fanfare, with other sounds involved. Depending on the variant, the music would be abridged.

Availability: Extinct.

3rd Logo (Kids Variant) (2002-2006?)

Logo: The logo consists of short clips of shows that aired on TV7 that were oriented at children at the time. The logo begins with clips of six different shows, which are The Adventures of Tintin, Rugrats, CatDog, The Angry Beavers, pepperkids, and alfabeta. After short clips of those shows, clips from all the shows zoom in, and we flash to four blocks, one yellow block with the sun, one green block with a leaf, one blue with water, and one pink with a flower. The 7 logo then crashes against the blocks, and the "Kids" text follows afterward.

Technique: The blocks moving around, the 7 logo, and the "Kids" text rotating as it enters the screen.

Music/Sounds: A playful orchestral fanfare.

Availability: Extinct.

4th Logo (Series Variant) (2002-2006?)

Logo: TBA

Technique: TBA

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Extinct. It was used at the beginning of any TV series that aired on TV7 from 2002 to 2006.

Trans 7

1st Logo (December 15, 2006-2013)

Logo: On a blue jewel background, we see a round diamond spinning as it appears to have a reflection of the Indonesian flag and tribal patterns (on its edges) on it. The camera slowly zooms to it. We fade into the 3D Indonesian map that's glowing and turning up, and then another fade to a group of diamond going up. A large "T" is revealed, and there's another fade to the rest of the word, "TRANS", spinning. And another fade to the same word spacing out, as blue shards appear and start to form part of the 7. In another cut, the whole number is formed and it's also spinning. A light passes by, and then through the finished logo, which is seen on a blue rectangle, on a white/blue gradient background.

Technique: Great CGI.

Music/Sounds: A majestic fanfare.

Availability: Extinct.

2nd Logo (2013-)

Logo: We see a blue 3D map of Indonesia. Various colored diamonds rise up near it. In another cut, various Indonesian fabrics float in around the diamond. We then cut into a white Trans 7 logo, without the "A". The colored diamonds appear and form the A. The trademark version of that "A" is later formed on by a beam, and the whole logo zooms out as the blue rectangle appears behind it and the background changes into a blue background. The logo shines.

  • On widescreen/HD broadcasts, the background has added pink on it and lights pass around the logo.
  • A short production variant has just the diamonds forming the A of the logo on a blue background, and then the rest of the logo (rectangle, text) fades in. The logo then zooms back.

Technique: More great CGI, once again.

Music/Sounds: An orchestral fanfare, followed by a tribal drumbeat and a bell theme, then another orchestral part with a tribal bell instrument plays. The short version uses a sombre choral theme and twinkles when the A forms.

Availability: Current.
