Canal 5 Rosario

1st Logo (1980-1987)

Logo: On a black background, a yellow circle with stripes scrolling up inside it rises up from the bottom of the screen and glows, before zooming out as four other circles, which also have stripes and a glow behind them, appear from behind it (a blue one moving to the top left, a red one moving to the top right, an orange one moving to the bottom left, and a green one moving to the bottom right). All five circles then zoom out and flip over, revealing that their other sides lack stripes, and arrange themselves into a quincunx (the shape of five dots on a die). A yellow star flies to the right, forming the text "LT 84 TV CANAL 5", and a second star flies to the left below it, forming "ROSARIO".

Technique: The dot rising and the other dots spreading out, the flipping and revealing of the text. It appears to be made with Scanimation.

Music/Sounds: A rising trumpet theme, ending with a 3-note finish with the last note drawn out.

Availability: Extinct.

2nd Logo (1987-1989)

Logo: On a black background, we see a checkerboard pattern with a white glow and slight rainbow hues stretching into the darkness. A white rectangular panel flies towards the screen, flashing once as a red grid emerges from the darkness. As it slowly comes towards the screen, the background fades to a sky background with cartoony clouds and the screen zooms out and flips over to reveal a darker side. Five yellow rings fly in and form a stack, before spreading out and flipping up to reveal five segmented circles arranged in a quincunx. They fade out and the panel zooms in, before zooming out and flying away, revealing a translucent, upside down checkerboard pattern. As this happens, the text "LT 84 TV CANAL 5 ROSARIO" rotates in a ring as the quincunx flies in. When the text disappears, the word "REPETIDORAS" ("REPEATERS" in Spanish) fades in on the top of the screen, and the names "13/VENADO TUERTO", "4/RUFINO", "57/PERGAMINO" and "68/EL TREBOR" appear below.

Logo: We see 5 balls in various colors (a blue one, a yellow one, a green one, an orange one, and a red one) moving through a city, stopping at a monument. The balls move around the monument and arrange themselves into a low-angled quincunx, as the words "LT 84 TV CANAL 5 ROSARIO" slide in below.

Technique: 3D animation.

Music/Sounds: An upbeat synth theme with an announcer saying "Transmite LT 84 TV Canal 5 Rosario, y sus repetidoras: 13 de Venado Tuerto, 4 de Rufino, 57 de Pergamino, y 68 de El Trébol." ("Transmitting LT 84 TV Channel 5 Rosario, and its repeaters: 13 from Venado Tuerto, 4 from Rufino, 57 from Pergamino, and 68 from El Trébol.").

Eventually the balls stop moving and arrange themselves in a low-angled and somehwat inclined quincunx. The text "LT84 TV Canal 5 Rosario" slides below them in an arch, and the text "el 5... en tu espacio" ("the 5... in your space") appears below while a city fades in behind them.
