Seven Arts Entertainment, Inc. (formerly "Seven Arts Pictures Plc.") was founded in 2002 by former Carolco president and CEO Peter Hoffman. Carolco had previously used the name as a joint venture with New Line Cinema; when the partnership was dissolved, Hoffman took the name Seven Arts with him to start over. The company has offices in London and Los Angeles. The productions of Seven Arts are distributed through Seven Arts International.
