RTL

Background

RTL Klub is a Hungarian free-to-air television channel owned by the RTL Group. It began broadcasting three days after its main rival TV2, and is one of Hungary's first commercial TV channels. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the channel was renamed on October 22, 2022 to simply "RTL", in correlation to a company-wide rebrand started the previous year by the RTL Group.
