Princess Productions was a British television production company founded in September 1996 by Henrietta Conrad and Sebastian Scott. The genres they prioritize in are reality and talk shows, which include The Wright Stuff, T4, Got to Dance, and The Friday Night Project. In December 2006, the Shine Group acquired the company. A decade later, on May 4, 2017, it was announced that the company will shut down by the end of the year due to financial instability.

1st Logo (March 24-June 13, 1997)

Logo: On a gray sky with a light blue surface, a man with a cane and a woman are standing, looking back at the camera. Next to them is the fancy text "Princess Productions" and the bottom text "A Princess production for Channel 4" and the copyright notice.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Extinct; only seen on series 1 of Light Lunch.

2nd Logo (October 6, 1997-March 5, 1999)

Logo: On a velvet background, there is a stylized orange frog on a lilypad next to the green text "Princess Productions" using the same font from before. Underneath the logo reads "A Princess production for Channel 4" and a copyright notice underneath. A little later, the frog kisses the "P" in "Princess", allowing a sparkle to appear on the "i"'s dot in the same letter.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: A kiss and a ding sound. The ending theme of the programme may play over these sounds.

Availability: Extinct; it was seen on the remaining series of Light Lunch as well as The One Where Johnny Makes Friends. Like the previous logo, they are no longer on television and virtually unavailable on home media, but some archive sites has this and the logo preserved.

3rd Logo (December 5, 1998-2006)

Logo: On a teal water background, there are three lilypads with the frog from before in a yellow green-orange gradient color standing on the farthest lilypad. Next to the closest lilypad is the same text from before in white and underneath is additional in-credit information such as a co-producer's name and a copyright notice. The frog is seen cutting to one lilypad to the next until it gets to the closest in which the amphibian kisses the "P" like before, lighting up the "i"'s dot and causing lights to float around.


  • Starting in 2004, the logo is shown within the end credits. There are four static sparkles next to "Princess", the lilypads have less detail, and the frog is more orange. The variant is also still.
    • Like with many other logos produced for Channel 4, a split-screen and a superimposed variant exists.
    • On 2 Tone Britain, only two lilypads are shown.
  • On Bedrock, the frog, lilypads, and sparkles appear above the text, which reads "Princess Digital".
  • On Jailbreak, the frog is tied to a ball and chain.
  • On Model Behaviour, the frog is wearing a bikini and the Artists Independent Network logo appears within the logo.
  • On RI:SE, the logo is boxed and next to the Sky logo, which also within a box.
  • On World Famous for Dicking Around, the logo, in a boxed format, appears within the 2000 Bravo logo.
  • 2003-04 programmes produced for Channel 5 has the logo in a box and to the right of the Channel 5 logo.
  • An Oxford variant has "Productions" replaced with "Oxford".

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: Same as before.

Availability: Extremely rare; many of these programmes are hard to find outside of their original runs on television. It first appeared on Bedrock and later appeared on Model Behaviour, The Players, Jailbreak, The Deadly Knowledge Show, among several others.

4th Logo (2006-2014)

Logo: Four colored lines are drawn from different directions. Afterwards, the logo fades in, consisting of a stretching bar containing various colors and a stacked white text reading "PRINCESS PRODUCTIONS".


  • 2006-2007: None.
  • 2007-2014: "SHINE GROUP" with said company's logo on the left. It is also animated.


  • The color on the bars may vary with the color schemes being red-light blue-red, purple-light green-purple, dark red-light green-blue, and blue-orange-green.
  • Most of the time, the logo is still.
  • Programmes produced by the company's northern division replaces "PRODUCTIONS" with "NORTH"

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Like the previous logo, it's rare, but some of these programmes like Truckers have seen some light on VOD prints. It also appeared on The Friday Night Project, The Wright Stuff, Got to Dance, Lily Allen & Friends, among others.

5th Logo (2014-2017)

Logo: Two lines of dots fall down from the left, consisting of a red-light blue-red gradient. Simultaneously, the same text from before fades in underneath.


  • 2014-2016: Same as the previous logo's 2007 byline.
  • 2016-2017: "EndemolShineGroup"

Variant: The Endemol byline may be bigger than the logo itself.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Can be seen on the last several series of The Wright Stuff, Dan and Phil's Story of TATINOF, the first several series of Sunday Brunch, and several more.
