Pechpanna Productions
Background
Pechpanna Productions (PN) (Thai: เพชรพันนาโปรดักชั่น) was a Thai action film production & distribution company founded by Panna Rittikrai and closed in 2014 due to Panna's death. In 1992 they founded Ruanam Group and in 1991 they founded another company 138/1 Entertainment.
1st Logo (1987)
Logo: On a black background, we fade to a finished PN logo flickering over a black backdrop, then the Thai and English translations of the name flash out, dimming down to create the completed logo. The logo then fades into the movie's opening credits.
Technique: The logo flashing.
Music/Sounds: A cut-off version of the Vichai Productions 1981 theme (possibly Fanfares: Brassy Curtains from Roger Roger).
Availabilty: Very rare. Seen only on ปลุกมันขึ้นมาฆ่า (Panna's first film).
2nd Logo (1989-1996)
Logo: On a black background (unlike 1st logo and 138/1 Entertainment logos), we see the PN logo from before but stretched with Thai translation on the right of "PN". Unlike 1st logo, there is no English translation.
Variant: A scope version also exists.
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: The Back to the Future theme. Also, some prints has Vichai Production 1981 logo (from the previous logo) or Thana Entertainment music due to rarity warning.
Availability: Seen on some Pechpanna films like ไอ้เพชร บขส. 2 (Bin Banluerit-Panna Rittikrai), เกิดมาลุย 3 and others.
