Paramount Famous Productions
Background
Paramount Famous Productions was a direct-to-DVD film production arm of Paramount Pictures, founded in 2009 but abandoned in 2011. This division is named after Famous Players, Paramount's predecessor formed in 1912.
(January 13, 2009-January 23, 2011)

Logo: We see a bright light from above the screen, forming three transparent triangle borders and the word "FAMOUS" is seen behind them. Clouds appear in the background, the triangle moves to the left and more words fade inside the light, emitting stars: "Paramount" in its corporate font above and "PRODUCTIONS" below. Then the logo clears out, leaving only the background.
Technique: All the animation.
Music/Sounds: A few whooshing sounds when the logo zooms out.
Availability: Very rare. Only a handful of films were made and distributed by the division over roughly two years, such as Road Trip: Beer Pong, Van Wilder: Freshman Year, The Romantics, and Wrong Turn at Tahoe. It first appeared on Without a Paddle: Nature's Calling, and was last seen on Mean Girls 2.
