Background

Pandora Film (or Pandora Filmproduktion) is a German film production and distribution company that distributes international films across Germany. The company was founded in 1982 by cinema operators Karl Baumgartner and Reinhard Brundig. The name of the company was inspired by G.W. Pabst's Pandora's Box.
