Nexoft is the American subsidiary of ASCII Corporation that was originally founded in 1989 to localize ASCII's games for the North American market. It was quickly renamed to ASCII Entertainment Software in 1991 after two years.
1st Logo (July 1990-September 1991)
Logo: On a black or white background, we see the Nexoft logo, which is the word "NEXOFT" in the bold-italic sans-serif font, colored black, with the "<OFT" part horizontally striped appears on the screen.
- On the NES game of Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord, the text "NEXOFT CORPORATION" appears below the logo. Plus, the logo is larger.
- On the Game Boy game of Ishido: The Way of Stones, the Nintendo logo turns from a line effect to the Nexoft logo, in the same way as the ASCII logo used by the game.
- On the NES games of Faria: A World of Mystery & Danger and Gun-Nac, the logo is blue.

2nd Logo (Penguin Wars variant 1) (July 1990)
Logo: Below the title of the game, we see the previous Nexoft logo with two texts, "PRESENTED BY" at the top, and "© 1985 ASCII CORP. LICENSED BY NINTENDO" at the bottom.
Availability: Seen only on Penguin Wars for the Game Boy.
3rd Logo (Penguin Wars variant 2) (July 1990)
This logo contains flashing images at 0:09-0:10.
The video of this logo may be too loud or severely distorted.
Logo: Same as the 4th ASCII logo, except that logo was replaced by the Nexoft logo.
