Background
MovieTime is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by Corus. Itʼs a commercial service that primarily broadcasts films, with over 250 titles per month and back-to-back movies on the weekend. It was launched by Canwest as Lonestar on September 7, 2001, then to its current name on October 6, 2008. An HD simulcast launched on March 12, 2010.
