Background

This is the vanity card of Nick News host Linda Ellerbee.

1st Logo (1992-200?)

Logo: On a black background, we see two rows of five blue squares with a drawing of a yellow duck inside each one. The boxes (excluding the bottom-right one) flip over to reveal the letters of the words "LUCKY DUCK" in a pink font inside them, and "PRODUCTIONS" in a light blue 3D font appears below.

Technique: The boxes flipping. Typical 90s animation.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the program.

Availability: Extinct. Only appeared on Nick News, which doesn't get rerun very often.

2nd Logo (200?-2011)

Logo: On a shimmering brown/blue gradient background, we see what appears to be a rectangular filmstrip scrolling towards opposing sides of the screen and a red circle with a watery background and a duck that sways back and forth. "LUCKY" in light blue flips in letter-by-letter and "DUCK" fades in and zooms out beneath "LUCKY". "productions" fades in below.

Technique: The words appearing and the background effects.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Same as before.

3rd Logo (2004, 2011-December 15, 2015)

Logo: On a black background, we see two rows of five boxes (similar to the 1st logo) in various colors (from left to right, top to bottom: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, teal, pink, sea green, yellow, and coral), with the bottom right one having an image of a yellow duck inside. The boxes flip one by one to reveal the company's name in light blue, with the bottom right box flipping to reveal an image of a green duck on a pale blue background. The word "productions" appears below.

Technique: The boxes flipping one-by-one.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Same as before. It also appeared earlier on Inside TV Land: Primetime Politics in 2004.
