KAMU is a PBS affiliate located in College Station, Texas. It serves the Waco-Temple-Bryan area.
1st Logo (1996-2002)
Logo: On the white cloud background, we see the letters "KAMU. Then, the word "PRODUCTION" zooms in.
FX/SFX: The clouds zooming in.
Music/Sounds: A seven note piano and orchestral tune.
2nd Logo (1999-May 25, 2010)
Logo: Same as 1998 PBS ident with KAMU TEXAS text
Variant: There is a kaleidoscope variant.
FX/SFX: Same as 1998 PBS ident
Music/Sounds: Same as 1998 PBS Gymnastics ident
Availability: Extinct. Only used as a station ident until May 25, 2010.
3rd Logo (2002-2003)
Logo: On the live-action background we see a KAMU text is yellow then the circle is P-Head is green then The words TEXAS fades in The logo was fades out faster.
Music/Sounds: A 10 note synth tune The long version uses a 10 note synth tune is slower.
Availability: Seen at the end KAMU produced show followed by 1999 American Public Television logo
4th Logo (2003-2007)
Logo: On the black background we see a white circle P-Head zooming in then KAMU text is green then The words TEXAS PRODUCTION text fades in
FX/SFX: The animation zooming in P-Head
Music/Sounds: An orchestral tune.
Availability: Seen at the end KAMU productions at the time.
5th Logo (2007-2011)
Logo: Over the live-action footage the KAMU text then The words Presents text
FX/SFX: The "Presents" text sliding in.
Music/Sounds: A 4 note fanfare.
