Heroic Television is a Canadian television production and development company based in Toronto, Ontario founded in 2000 by Suzanne Bolch and John May as Heroic Film Company. In January 2010, it was rebranded under its current name.

Heroic Film Company

1st Logo (October 5, 2000-January 20, 2002)

Logo: On a black background, "HEROIC" and "FILM COMPANY" below in a white condensed bold Copperplate Gothic font pans out and turns from the right. As it finishes turning and zooming out, two searchlights appears on opposite sides of the screen flashing at the text. Some sparks ignite between the lights.

Technique: The searchlights appearing and the sparks, done in CGI.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme.

Availability: This is so far seen on Our Hero.

2nd Logo (February 17, 2006-January 31, 2011)

Logo: On the SMPTE color bars with a black frame, a superhero rabbit flies across to the right of the screen out of frame. It then flies back from the bottom right corner. As it does "heroic film company" fades in and zooms in at the bottom before the rabbit halts and rests above the text.

Variant: A long version can be seen on a trailer for How To Be Indie. The color bars are shown via a TV powering on. The bunny appears spiralling into the screen until it crashes into the screen, its eyes becoming crossed and a ring of stars appearing around its head, sliding down with visible motion lines, then the bunny flies in from the bottom right.

Technique: The rabbit and text.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo. For the long version (as well as on Connor Undercover), we hear the sound of an old TV set turning on, airplane-like noises as the rabbit flies in, a gong sound when it hits the screen, then creaking noises as it slides off.

Availability: Seen on Captain Flamingo on Jetix, Connor Undercover on Family Channel and the first half of season one of How to Be Indie on YTV.

Legacy: The drawing's still and simplistic appearance (especially when flying) makes it look awkward, though this was probably intentional.

Heroic Television

(January 22, 2010-)

Logo: On a white background with a lime green bar with a dark green flower pattern, a black trail comes zooming from the left of the screen before it stopping to reveal the same rabbit in a stylized appearance, with "heroic" and "tv" to the right.

Technique: The trail.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Seen on the rest of How to Be Indie on YTV and on Disney Channel.
