Background

GTRK Vorkutateleradio is the state regional broadcaster of the Vorkuta region from the Komi Republic in Russia.

1st Logo (1997-2002)

Logo: We see a spotlight image near the bottom-left with a factory inside. Multiple stars glow in at certain positions before the factory image grows into the center, revealing it in clearer detail. "ВОРКУТАТЕЛЕРАДИО" in metallic wipes in below and shines, and the rest of the image clears up before the factory fades out, leaving the sea within the same sky. Segments of a triangle then move in from the sides, while a spark draws in the red "ТВ" script in the front, and "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" stretches in from the logo, placing below.

Technique: Mostly 2D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: A somber synth theme.

Availability: Extinct on TV.

Legacy: It is a decent logo considering the far-northern position of the locality.
