Favorite Pictures Studios was a independent film production studio owned by a Winnipeg-based filmmaker John Paizs. It operated between 1984 to 1986, its best known as the cult film Crime Wave.

Logo: On a orange squared background with half-yellow and half-blue sphere background, we see the words "FAVORITE PICTURES" in the center and "STUDIOS" on the bottom.

Variant: On the remastered prints of Crime Wave, the logo is slightly zoomed-out.

Technique: None, except for the fading.

Music/Sounds: A bombastic horn-drum fanfare.

Availability: Very rare. It was only seen on the 1985 film Crime Wave.
