Cyclo Video
1st Logo (1983)
Logo: On a black background, we see the words "CYCLO VIDEO" being typed in on-screen in little amber cubes.
Technique: Primitive computer animation.
Music/Sounds: A bombastic fanfare after eight seconds of silence, sourced from the KPM library track "Fanfare (1)" composed by Neil Richardson and released on the 1970 album Scenesetters, Fanfares, and Punctuations (catalog number KPM 1057).
Availability: Rare. Seen on many pre-cert releases and video nasties from the UK. It was known to be on their video series The Gamma Chronicles. You might also find it on ATA Video releases also.
2nd Logo (1983)
Logo: On a black background, we see twelve colorful isosceles triangles, coming in red, green, yellow, violet, cyan and indigo, appearing from-left-to-right and one-at-a-time to form a giant fan. Then, the fan slowly disappears multiple sections at a time to reveal the words "CYCLO VIDEO" in a white sports T-shirt-style font.
Technique: Primitive computer animation.
Music/Sounds: A triumphant Moog synth fanfare, which is Keith Mansfield's "Superstar Fanfare (h)".
Availability: Same as the previous logo.
