Background
Coffee Stain Studios was founded in 2010 by students at the University of Skövde. In 2011, CSS signed a five year deal with Epic Games to use the Unreal Engine for their games, after successfully participating in a modding competition held by Epic and Intel. In November 2018, the studio was acquired by THQ Nordic.
