Coffee Stain Studios was founded in 2010 by students at the University of Skövde. In 2011, CSS signed a five year deal with Epic Games to use the Unreal Engine for their games, after successfully participating in a modding competition held by Epic and Intel. In November 2018, the studio was acquired by THQ Nordic.
1st Logo (Late 2010-September 10, 2013)
Availability: Seen on I Love Strawberries for iOS, and the Sanctum games for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
2nd Logo (April 1, 2014-August 12, 2015)
Logo: On a black background, we see a circle showing three stains, The text "Coffee Stain Studios" is under the logo.
Availability: Seen on Goat Simulator for PC, mobile and home consoles.
3rd Logo (January 21, 2016-)
Availability: Seen on Satisfactory for PC, as well as independently developed games published by Coffee Stain Studios.
