Background

Canal Uno is the first Colombian TV channel. It started in June 13, 1954 and was the only Colombian television channel until 1966, when Teletigre became airing. It became "Primera Cadena" in 1972, then "Cadena Uno" in the 1980's, and then in 1998 the channel adquired it's current name.
