1st Logo (1992-1994)

CKCO-TV ID (1993).png

Logo: Inside a translucent cylinder, we see the CTV logo in the top right corner and on the left, a stack of vertical lines in a near-spiral pattern. The camera pans out to see 3 gold squares (two small squares on the top left and bottom right corners of a larger square) with CKCO-TV in gold next to it. The shape and letters turn and place themselves in the center at a slight angle as three streaks in CTV's colors circle around the cylinder. A few more streaks fly around or up the cylinder as the CTV logo and lines continue to rotate inside it.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: A jazz tune with an announcer saying, "We're CKCO-TV". Otherwise, there's no announcer.

Availability: Extinct. Found on a CKCO-TV recording from 1993.
