In November 1997, [[Acclaim Entertainment]] transferred Utah-based subsidiary [[Sculptured Software]] under its [[Acclaim Studios Austin|Iguana]] brand as "Iguana West", after its founders left the company; this new entity was ran by Peter Suarez. In 1999, it was renamed again to "'''Acclaim Studios Salt Lake City'''". In December 2002, the studio was closed by Acclaim due to financial problems.
